Head of Mercedes-Benz Trucks Sales & Product Management

At Mercedes–Benz Hungária Kft., we are currently recruiting for the following open position to our Budapest head office:


    Main tasks and responsibilities:

    • Development of short- and long-term MB Trucks sales strategies,
    • Define and analyze sales potentials by sales channels with focus on small, medium and large fleets, leasing and rental business and normal sales channel,
    • Establish and perform product management function for MB Trucks,
    • Continously monitor market development and product requirements,
    • Develop, promote and preserve the image of the MB Truck brand in front of Truck network and customers,
    • Support the coordination of MB Truck activities within MB Hungary, towards Daimler central functions and dealer network,
    • Ensure a consistent and efficient support for retail partners with adequate sales incentive and reward programs in cooperation with the MB Truck team/controlling,
    • Propose and negotiate target agreements with retailers; motivate and steer them to achieve the sales targets,
    • Cooperate with marketing department to implement sufficient retail and fleet marketing activities,
    • Provide consistent support for Truck Sales Managers regarding retail sales and fleet sales with know-how and best practice sharing,
    • Personnel management: lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target achievements and performance on basis of mission statement.


    • University degree (business administration, economics or technical degree)
    • At least 5 years of work experience in multinational environment - experience in different sales functions, preferably in Trucks or commercial vehicles segments
    • Excellent knowledge of English and/or German (written and spoken), native speaker in Hungarian
    • Full computer literacy (CRM system knowledge is an advantage)
    • High standard of integrity and ability to appropriately follow company policies and regulations,
    • Passion for automotive industry - overall and global knowledge of the Hungarian and int. automotive industry is appreciated, daily knowledge of
    • Hungarian and international economic environment, technical skills appreciated,
    • Brand Ambassador behavior and attitude,
    • Leadership skills, intercultural openness, flexibility and stress resistance,
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills,
    • Proactive, cooperative and trustworthy personality,
    • Being in love with Trucks - driving license category „B” type (Truck drivers license is an advantage).
